Calvin's Skate-a-thon

A skate-a-thon was held to raise money for The Carpenter Hospice. Shown above all the skaters that took part.

Congratulations to everyone!
The Novice Flyers Raised $7006.00 That will be donated to The Carpenter Hospice in Memory of Al Lishman. The kids completed close to 150 laps, this only an hour after they tied the first of our playoff games.
Our teams TOP earner J.D. McNeil who earned an incredible $1725.00! He was rewarded a one week of Football Camp at McMaster Maurauders!! Other top earners Jacob O'Neil, James Presenter and Jack Vane all received prizes as they all raised North of $600.00!
We also had support from other Novice teams! Sharks,Avalanche,Leafs and Penguins! As well as 3 members from my Atom Avalanche team Connor, Noah and Jacob who came out to run a shootout for the kids before a big playoff game that afternoon.
Calvin's Family was at our event and very touched by the event. The Burlington Cougars also stopped in with a signed team jersey and stick for Calvin.
